Procedure. The Zoning Board of Appeals shall hold a public hearing on all matters it is required to decide. The Board shall give notice of the hearing by advertisement in a newspaper as required by state statute and, except on appeals where it is alleged that there is an error in any order, requirement or decision made by the official charged with the enforcement of this chapter, by sending by first-class mail a copy of the notice to the applicant and to the owners of all property adjoining the property which is the subject of the application. The applicant for a variance or special exception shall post a sign giving notice of the application in a conspicuous place on the property for which a variance or special exception is sought, visible from a public street. Said sign shall be posted at least seven days before the date of the hearing, and it shall be removed not later than three days after the public hearing. Said signs shall be provided by the Town without charge. The Zoning Board of Appeals shall decide any appeal within 65 days after the hearing.
