(1) In all one-family residence districts, an application for an accessory dwelling unit shall be subject to the site plan provisions of § 177-42B.

(2) The Town Planner shall give notice of the application by sending, by certificate of mailing, a copy of the application to the owners of all adjoining property to the property which is the subject of the application.

(3) The applicant shall post a sign giving notice of the application in a conspicuous place on the property for which the accessory dwelling unit is sought, visible from a public street. Said sign shall be posted from the date an application is received by the Town Planner and shall remain in place until a decision on the application has been made.
